Kinān Hotels (“Kinān”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website for its properties on Fulidhoo Island, Vaavu Atoll, Republic of Maldives. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

We collect:

• Information you give us through our enquiry, booking, experience, spa and newsletter forms: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry, such as preferred dates, number of guests, the property or experience of interest, and any message you send.
• Technical information collected automatically when you submit a form or browse the site: your IP address, the date and time, the page you submitted from, and standard browser and device information.
• Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.

We do not take payments on this website and do not collect card or payment details here. Bookings are handled as enquiries, and any payment is arranged separately with our team.

• To respond to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• To process and follow up on booking, experience, wedding and spa requests.
• To send you our newsletter, only if you have asked to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the website and respond to you, such as our website host, email provider and, where used, analytics and mapping providers. These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the Maldives. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so that we can improve it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

7. Data retention

We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Website Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Use of the website

This website is provided for personal, non-commercial use, to learn about Kinān Hotels and to make enquiries. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

3. Enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry or booking request through this website does not create a confirmed booking. All rates, availability, dates and inclusions are subject to confirmation by our team, and prices and opening dates may change. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you directly.

4. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 1pm and check-out is by 12 noon. Subject to room availability, early check-in from 9am and late check-out until 1pm are free of charge. Early check-in between 6am and 9am is charged at 50% of the room rate, and check-in before 6am is charged as a full night. Late check-out until 6pm is charged at 50% of the room rate, and after 6pm as a full night.

5. Prepayment, cancellation and refunds

Bookings carry a prepayment of 50% of the booking value, which may be collected from 30 days before the check-in date. Cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before check-in. If a booking is cancelled or modified within 30 days of check-in, 20% of the total booking value is charged. No refunds are made for no-shows or early check-out. Where you book through a third-party booking engine or travel agent, that platform’s terms may also apply.

6. Accuracy of information

We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but information, including descriptions, imagery, prices, opening dates and availability, is provided “as is” and may change without notice. Some properties and venues are described ahead of their opening.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Kinān Hotels and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission.

8. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites and services, for example social media or messaging apps. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kinān Hotels is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
